I always loved walking around the back yard, noticing all the little details that she put in, having her show me a little patch of this and a hidden patch of that. Thank you for sharing these pictures. I don’t have nearly as many memories as you (or for sure you, Allyson!!), but she was still my aunt and I was/am sooo pleased to be her niece!
thank you all for your input. I was going to put up a guest post with one of the pieces she wrote to me but then I thought of her gardens and how they were so very personal and dear to her heart. Sharing these pictures made me homesick, too, Allyson.
